Merrimack River Dentistry - Dentist, Hygienist, and Staff

Merrimack River Dentistry started in 2014 with Dr. Yoon purchasing the practice that has been in place for many years. Since then, we have been steadily making our office more modern, more friendly, and more convenient while keeping our dental care at the highest level. We utilize state-of-the-art dental equipment such as latest Dexis digital X-ray and Cavitron ultrasonic scaler.

We work together to make your visit enjoyable and efficient. We continue to improve our skills by attending Continuing Education classes and Yankee Dental Congress. Excellent dental care is our highest priority. Once you visit us once, we are sure that you will stay with us for all your dental care.

Dr. Yoon graduated from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN and earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine. In addition to practicing general dentistry at private office settings, she worked at South Boston Community Health Center (under Boston Medical Center), affiliated with the Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine (where she also had taught as a clinical instructor). She eventually brought her wealth of experience and professionalism and started Merrimack River Dentistry to serve Haverhill as well as the surrounding towns in Merrimack Valley. As she majored in Fine Arts alongside her studies in the Sciences at Vanderbilt University, she believes in the artistry of dentistry intertwined with solid clinical treatment planning - how these in balance could brighten and enhance one's health and life. Dr. Yoon is an avid student of the profession and currently pursuing her Fellowship/Masters degree within the Academy of General Dentistry. To continually keep abreast of the field, she is a member of the American Dental Association, the Massachusetts Dental Society, and the Merrimack Valley District Society. Dr. Yoon enjoys reading and spending time with her family of five.

Ms. Evans, our Registered Dental Hygienist, graduated from Middlesex Community College in 2002. Lisa is an Oral Healthcare Educator with excellent interpersonal and clinical skills. Lisa has visited Pentucket Regional High School's Chemistry Class, informing students on the effects of acidic foods on dental enamel and has had potential students shadow her at our office. She also enjoys being a Call Firefighter and has earned her National Certification in Firefighting in 2011. She loves any activity that promotes a healthy lifestyle and spending time with her family.
